The Metevoe Waterfall Tour starts in Kavieng. 

Pickup time: 7:00 am

You will be picked up by our tour guide at your hotel and taken to the jetty where the boat trip begins.

The boat ride - an experience itself:
On the approx. 2-hour boat trip, you will pass many small islands and turquoise-blue bays with coconut palms. We can often spot dolphins during the trip, and sometimes we even see manta rays. On the way home its possible see to fregatte birds. If desired, a time for fishing can be planned on the trip

A life jacket is carried for each passenger. Fresh and clean water is allways present.

Metevoe Waterfall:

After arrival we will leave the boat and a 10 minutes walk will bring us to the famous scenery of the Metevoe Waterfall! Now is the time to enjoy all the refreshments of the waterfall and the pond. Swim, slide or even jump in the fresh water!

The Mystery stones of Metevoe:

After the time at the Metevoe Waterfall we have the unique opportunity to marvel at the mysterious stones of Metevoe! Mysterious signs and symbols can be seen, prompting us to try to explain them. The stones have aroused the interest of historians and we will soon find out more about the history of these stones. It will certainly be one of the treasures of the world cultural heritage.

Lunch at Metevoe is included. We will serve you some specialties from a our wide range of vegetables, fish and fresh fruits.

Coconut tree climbing:

our brave boys will show you how they collect the fresh coconut for you,. you will be fascinated about the skills!

The coconut tree for us is the tree of life. We get so many things from that tree. We like to show you how we weave a basket or how we do a broom, we will show you how we easily open a coconut for a drink or for the copra. Be prepared for some surprises 😉
